I’m a busy man. By day, I work as an attorney with my father. By night, I write and tutor students preparing for the LSAT and the SAT. I’m also the father of two, and the uncle of a third. I blog on legal topics at http://legalnotes.meyeresq.com if you’re interested, and I write history-related articles for answers.com.
My hobbies include reading, listening to music, and watching hockey. I root for the Islanders, Mets, and Jets. I yell at my TV a lot. I also love food. A lot.
Who are the other crazy characters in the house?
My 5 year old daughter. She’s not shy about saying what she thinks about just about anything. She loves pink, princesses, and
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Update: It turns out that this obsession is over. Now it’s watching videos on YouTube of people playing video games and playing with dolls.
My newborn son. He eats, cries, and poops. He loves milk. Sometimes he smiles.
My 15 year old niece who lives with us. She loves food, the color blue, and avoiding schoolwork. She’s also a very talented pianist.
My wife. The love of my life. The mother of my children. The best thing to ever happen to me and I mean like EVER. (She wrote this herself, so take it with a grain of salt.)
My niece’s best friend from age 2. She’s 16, and spends a lot of time with us. She is a talented artist and acts like she’s my child.
Wait, why are they all named for fish?
This started with the Guppy. When she was born, that’s what we called her. The name just kind of stuck, and when talking with friends, I still call her that. So, since I like that theme, we’re going to stick with it.
